State Of the Nation

Because of the recent State of the Nation Address by our president and her "lamyerda" in New York, I can’t help but show this to you, the real state of the nation.

Thanks to J.N. for sharing this to me.

  1. State of the Nation Address... plus the lavish dinner in a restaurant in New York, USA.

    Itong nasa video nga marahil ang siyang tunay na Kalagayan ang Bansang Pilipinas. =,{

  4. I can't fight the tears in my eyes watching that clip, it makes me sad that they are doing what they don't deserve to do, eating from other people's wasted food, hayyy, and all the while the President and her allies are wasting 1 million on Le Cirque.

yes, they really never knew, because they were never there.

  7. and yes, a sad reality...that it is happening in the Philippines, not just few, but maybe millions of them. But what touches me more, they pray, for the blessings of bounty...while other...laugh in glutonny.

I can never close my eyes again without seeing their faces and images, Ed. It's painful and I really feel hopeless.

bw, same here, bro. Same here.

  16. thanks for sharing this. naiyak ako watching this... it's really such a sad reality in our country...

while i too abhor the "lamyerda" of our president in nyc, i think we should also examine ourselves and think if we are not as well guilty of the same - probably not to the same degree... yong sa president natin it's just soooo extravagant that we all can't help but criticize it, pero in our own ways, aren't we too guilty of being socially irresponsible and wasteful at times?

i hope that our criticisms, cries and sympathies are not just empty words and feelings... :)

  17. 7thstranger, I'm guilty maybe, but unintentionally. I'm a concious and simple man. As much as possible I stand up to my social obligation. But in the case of GMA, it's not about her social obligation. It's more about pera natin ang winawaldas nya.

ooh the trouble i get when i don't think before i speak (rather, write)... :)

7thstranger, no offence taken. In a way, you're right. Some sympathize for the sake of sympathy.

lifemoto, yes bro, nakakaiyak at the same time enlightening. Thanks for adding me, I'll do the same.
